Contracts & Delegates
As a union member, you elect the committee that negotiates your contract, and you vote on the contract. In a very real sense, the contract for your worksite is your contract. To find the contract for your location, click on the category that best describes your work location using the list on your left, then click on the name of your work site.
In addition to understanding the terms of your contract, you should know your union delegate. Delegates are elected by the membership to:
- lend support,
- process grievances,
- represent you at delegate assemblies, and
- keep you informed of Union activities.
Your delegate is often your first point of contact if you have a question about your rights and responsibilities or need to file a grievance. Delegate information is posted on the same page as your contract information.
