White House Briefing for Community Leaders
For 2 days—March 22 - 23, 2012—The White House Office of Public Engagement has invited Keystone Progress (KP) to bring 100-125 activists to the White House for a “Community Leaders Briefing."
The goals for the White House Community Leaders Briefing Series are to:
- ensure the public is well-informed about government programs and policies and how best to utilize these resources;
- ensure the White House is hearing from the public about how government policies and programs can serve them better; and
- equip community leaders with knowledge on available tools & resources so they can better connect individuals in their communities to available government policies and programs.
