The Fund's Medical Plan: Carrier Changes on August 1

Effective August 1, 2009, the medical plan carrier for our Benefit Fund's medical plan will change to Aetna. As a result all members will need to complete an Aetna Enrollment form and select an Aetna QPOS PCP for each family member no later than June 30, 2009.

Employee Free Choice Act

A growing, bipartisan coalition of policymakers supports the Employee Free Choice Act, proposed legislation that would ensure that workers have a free choice and a fair chance to form a union. Simply put, the Employee Free Choice Act will allow workers to once again choose to form unions without the fear of being fired.
